Latin Summer Wedding at the Milcreek Inn

Summer Utah weddings are beautiful and fresh, especially up Millcreek Canyon where you’ll find the Millcreek Inn nestled up the tree-lined twists and turns of the mountain. I had the pleasure of entertaining for a wedding over the summer with a mix of both english and spanish music. 2020 has been a departure from the usual busy summer wedding season. One of the few weddings I had the privilege of entertaining this summer was one that was beautiful, intimate, and held in a backyard. Guests were seated apart across many tables in the outdoors with masks, hand sanitizer was abundant, and several hand washing stations were nearby.

Music is still a large and important part of these special events even if we can’t party in the same ways we used to do, with everyone up, moving, and dancing around the areas freely. I make it a point to play fun and recognizable songs to make sure people are tapping their feet and singing along to music early on in the event even without mingling around.
