2020 has been a departure from the usual busy summer wedding season. One of the few weddings I had the privilege of entertaining this summer was one that was beautiful, intimate, and held in a backyard. Guests were seated apart across many tables in the outdoors with masks, hand sanitizer was abundant, and several hand washing stations were nearby.
Music is still a large and important part of these special events even if we can’t party in the same ways we used to do, with everyone up, moving, and dancing around the areas freely. I make it a point to play fun and recognizable songs to make sure people are tapping their feet and singing along to music early on in the event even without mingling around. This will ensure your guests are still having a great time, making memories, and connecting, all while staying as safe as possible.
